          Linux is develop by linus  Torvald. He is the founder of linux OS. He was Graduate at University of Helsinky in Finland.

          Linux is full flagged network operating system (multi-user operating system)which can also being used as desktop operating system.

     It is free unik operating system. It controls the Computer Hardware and manages the Interaction between system resources such as Printers ,Scanner,Memory Harddisk,etc  are such a types in linux.

             Linux can be downloaded from the internet freely and it has open source coade.

                            HISTORY

        Before linux operating system UNIX  was one of the most popular operating system world wide, because the large support base distribution .

            Originally linux was developed at AT and T Bell Laboratory as  a multi-user and multi-tasking system  for Mini & Mainframe computer. In mids of 1970's Ken Thomson and Dennis riche Linux is a free version of Unix primarily developed by linus Torvald  at the University of Hensinki  in Finland with the help of many uniks program  and wizard (Software). Staeted in 1991.

        The 1st version 1.0 of the  kernel has developed in March 1992. Any operating system can work smoothly with the help of  kernel. The kernel of any operating system is should be stable and powerful. Linux is a source coade available for freely for the developers the meaning of any one with inuf knowledge can develop and change the operating system of linux as a new distribution.

             Linux is freely available on internet because linux was develop under  GNU (General Under License) project  of the software foundation in Combridge University.
